Subject: Mat Cauthon faces the Aelfinn (snakes) beyond the Tear doorway.

Thoughts: I thought this would be a good place to start, since I especially liked Jordan's description of the corridors and rooms. Here, I have the Aelfinn atop their pedestals, sitting in a mediative pose. In order to focus on floor design, the columns, and the characters, I only outlined the walls of the room. My only major gripe is that my imagination stalled at the top of the pedestals, with nothing more fancy to accompany the intricate columns.

When brought to life and showing quality it naturally feels realistic and beautiful as well as mystic. For simple hand drawn art you bring a masterpiece where there would be novice work! Many hats off to you, god bless your work and the light illumine you.

Loading... spiralling paterns at an angle in perspective. i’d say you should be proud of this one. you’ve mastered drawing technique very well. also, the spiral pillars are exactly what i’d imagined, tho the ppl themselves are a bit different. great job on your series overall, i like most very much.
