Subject: Rand al'Thor, holding the Dragon scepter, sits brooding upon a throne.

Thoughts: This was more practice than anything else, I think. I always thought that his dragon 'tatoos' must look pretty cool, so I made them a prominent part of the picture. There's no specific scene that I had in mind; Rand seems to be brooding a lot as of late anyway.

I wish I could draw like that - I can draw animals but I can't get the proportions for humans right. xP Anyway i think in this pic Rand looks kind of like Superman! - but otherwise, great job.

The herons are on his PALMS and the dragons 'glitter' because they are actually scales (not tattoos) and they go up his forarms on to the back of his hands.
The pic is great but the Dragon Scepter has tassles.

Fan, you idiot, if you actually read the description of Rand’s hands in the books the heron mark is basically burned in to his palms. And after he goes to Rhuidean, the heads of the dragons are on the back of his hands with the body wrapping around his forearms. This is one of the few pictures/drawings that I’ve seen that is accurate in the main description of Rand.

the drawing is good, but Rands features are...bad

His dragon heads were on the backs of his hands, so when one was burned away, the dragon was headless.
