I'm a biomedical engineering student at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. My main specialty is cardiac electrophysiology, but that's really not what you're here for, is it...?

I've dabbled in artwork since I was very young. I found (to my eternal chagrin) that I was better at drawing still life and animals than at drawing people. This turned out to be just as well, because combined with my interest in sci-fi, I had a lot of fun letting my imagination conjure up fanciful, but hopefully scientifically feasible creatures. Unfortunately, college work put an end to that.

For the meantime, I've was inspired by the explosion of artwork based on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series; it was my great pleasure to be in on the first wave of WoT art that started going up on the web. If you haven't read the series yet, get thee to a bookstore immediately.

I basically decided to mirror my page at my STEDDINGS art page. So if you've been there, all the pictures will seem strangely familar...

Your art is wonderful, your depictions of these scenes from the WoT are great. Thank you for giving me a glimse into how others see a scene.

I am amazed at your artwork. I am currently on book 5, you have captured the images that I have seen and heightened the ones I could not fully imagine. Thank you so very much!
