Tag As FavoriteComment		I was trying out some Charcoals that Cat had given to me. I rather like how it came out. o_O I sketched it out with pencil first, lightly. I used my fingers for some of the shading. ^_^

In a certain way the wizard looks as if he is scolding some mischievous kids: "Don't you dare to do this ever again, or...". He could be holding some ball-like object in his left hand, perhaps a ball of magical light? I'm not able say much about the technique (I never got beyond pencils), but I love it how you made the folds in the wizard's cloths.

I haven't tried to work with charcoal before (frankly, i'm a little frightened to work with anything other than pencil...), but seeing this, i might just try some myself...

Nice charcoal for a first try, I like the movement that you've captured in it Bree.

Try some coloured pastel paper sometime, it gives you more range with chalks and charcoal. Have fun 1
