| 30 Dec 2008 | Anon. | Loading... you should pull aspects from your inspiration, which is obviously anime and pokemon type stuff, and make it your own. not try to copy them. your work is lacking character, which only you can give to it. right now it just looks like your copying things that have already been done. what’s the difference in what you do and what 500,000 other people do? I am not trying to be mean, just giving constructive criticism. if you don’t want it, then don’t listen to me. I’m just trying to help. it seems like just a hobby, which is totally cool- but nonetheless, you should practice more drawing from life. you will get better. then you can make stuff up later. and it will look better. you have to have the basics in life drawing and painting before you can ever expect to be good at anything else. this is true for any artist. | |
