Brian A Hollywood stunt man specializing in swords and martial arts - I get to live what I draw.

 

 

I've been drawing & dreaming ever since I can remember, and in love with the fantasy and swashbuckling world from the moment I first saw Erol Flynn swing on to that tree branch in Robinhood. At that moment I knew what I wanted to do. As an actor/stunt man I got to live my dreams, but now due to a recent health problem I've been forced to take a long break from stunt work, se la vie. My art has always been an important part of my life, being there for me in in the darkest times when I had little else. These days I use it as a design medium for my work, it's nice to be able to illustrate my ideas. My influences are Boris, Frezetta, Nagel and of course everyone who ever put anything into Gary Gygax's gift to the world, D&D(thanks Gary). I hope you enjoy my work, as much as I enjoyed making it, and thank you in advance for your comments(I think). Brian D. Nealis 1962 - 2001 Brian was a loving father and a talented artist, swordsman, actor, musician and writer. His humor and quick wit were ever present in his art, which took form in so many diverse subjects. His family thanks Elfwood and every one who supported and encouraged Brian in all his artistic endeavors and would appreciate any words you might wish to leave here.
