| 17 Apr 2002 | Lorrie J Harris aka drgnlvr | Loading...I -want- that dagger! If I thought the design was better, I'd send it off to a knife maker to see what he'd do with it...if it turned out ok, I'm sure Peggy would want one too | |

But also, I love the arches and how you used real runes, did you look them up to go with what she's doing, or did you just place them down? Because the few up there for protection seem to help her....cuz it looks like she is protecting something. ^_^ -hops around- this is my fave so far! Thanks very much. I know that my shading still needs a bit of work, but I do what I can. The runes are just some that I pulled off the net. Research for an piece can be very interesting, in that you can find all sorts of symbols and objects that represent an idea that you're trying to convey, and then discard them and use something completely unrelated because it looks better. | |
| 20 Aug 2003 | Joshua Hutcheson, Unsupplied Artist | Loading...I get the impression that she's coming after us, what with the way she's holding the dagger and holding us in a fixed gaze..... Woo! It sends a chill down my spine. That means it's G-O-O-D!Shivers are good. Unless it's supposed to be a pastoral scene, in which case shivers would indicate that it turned out creepier than you intended...I have a tendency to make the figures in my character pics face the "camera" so to speak, so the menacing aspect never occured to me. Hopefully, you've found some supplies by now | |
| 30 May 2004 | Gwendolyn | Loading...now that is some badbutt piece of art! coolness! I really like the thing that's on her head, and that dagger....I *want* it. now, please. thank you very much. I have to admit, I stole the idea of a chrome skullcap from the character of Merlin in Excalibur. I've always kind of liked it | |
| 20 Aug 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...The only thing I would change would be the chest. She doesn't need to look like she works at Hooters, but maybe she could stand to be a little bit bigger in that area? No, I disagree. She was meant to be fairly flat-chested. It happens. | |
