My wife had a dream about a new D&D character after rereading Mickey Zucker Reichart's 'Last of the Renshai' books.  These books are fantasy novels based on Norse mythos.  This isn't her, but it was the impression I got from her first vague description. This one actually started out as a rough just to get some ideas, but it turned out reasonably well. Or, at least, I think so.

Nice pic. Umm... is her shirt supposed to fall off? And-just a question-whats up with the guy in the back checking her out?

:-) Brian Keith Cooke replies: "Yeah, her shirt is supposed to be falling off like that. And the guy behind her checking her out is doing that because that's what he wanted to do when I drew her. "

Her stance is awesome, looking like she is about to slash someone's head off. However I dont like her face that much, its rather bland, but I do like the way the barkeep expression is put.

:-) Brian Keith Cooke replies: "Yeah, the face does look a bit bland at this size. It was marginally better on the original piece before shrinkage."

Yea i would agree with Thanna, the bartender looks like hes got his eyes on the prize, good shading and it looks like it really flowed out of you, i likes 1

:-) Brian Keith Cooke replies: "Thanks much. Did this one one night at my old job, on copy paper. Seems like I had much more time for drawing then."

Nice shading. Did you use a photo-reference?

:-) Brian Keith Cooke replies: "No, I didn't use a photo reference for this one. I have some others in my gallery that I used a reference for, but not this one."

I think shes cool, she looks a little like paine from ffx-2 shes very bad looking isnt she.Don't play the game, so I don't know the character. Glad you like her, though. This was the rough draft of the Mitrian piece elsewhere in my gallery.

Its a really godd pic well done, though the sword should have a wolf on the hilt, maybe u should do some other characters out of the renshais books that would be really kool

:-) Brian Keith Cooke replies: "Really more based on the Renshai books, rather than actually being a character from them. Thanks, though 2"

This is one of your best. She is perfect and I love the way you cleverly reduced the background as well...I hate drawing backgrounds. Anyway, keep up the good work.

:-) Brian Keith Cooke replies: "I like the framing technique, so I try it out from time to time. Thanks!"

Cover up the breasts and presto! It's perfect

:-) Brian Keith Cooke replies: "I dunno, I kinda like the breasts the way they are...."

Dude, I really like this one. The pose is great, especially how she’s holding her sword. The costume is great and i really dig the location with the barkeep and upturned stool. Very nice work brotha!
