A character my wife dreamed about, then asked me to draw. She's named after a character in the Mickey Zucker Reichart 'Last of the Renshai' books. My first version of this pic can be seen elsewhere in this gallery. Tried using a colorless blender on my prismacolors with this one, and I think I like the results. The original is 11x14, so this version is really crunched down. I'll be uploading detail pics of various parts of the piece.

I think I like the other version of her better. This one just makes me think of an aerobics instructor during the mid-eighties. It's the circlet, the off-the-shoulder shirt, and the too-tight pants.Nothing wrong with tight pants 12 Doesn't strike me as being like that, but I can see how it might appear like that to others. That's not actually a circlet, it's a design/tattoo on her forehead, with braids in her hair tied back to hold her hair back. Difficult to see in this small version, though, I know.

Excellent! However, mitrians sword's crossguard should be a wolf's head with topaz eyes.Would do if it were acually the character from the Reichart novels. It's not, I just stole the name 2

I can give you help with that wolf. The nose is a little too long and flatted if you know what I mean.... But otherwise fantastic! --LissI think I know what you mean, yes. He irritates me, in that the sketch was soooo much better than the final version.

I love the way you did the clothes!Thank you. I was going for loose fighting blouse, but have been accused of raiding the prop room of Flashdance. 12

I absolutly adore that wolf!(the guy is cool, too)Really? I think the wolf is the worst part of this piece...except for some of the cheesy bottles on the shelves...

very nice I like it. I have many time been trying to draw people looking cool by a bar disk, but I cant seem to get it to work. I love her pose it looks very natural, and the way the cloth on her shirt hangs and folds. The pants however looks odd to me. I you were to remove the white high light they would look like velvet trousers. If you want them to look like they were shiny, I suggest you add a second high light a little less bright on the other side of her leg.Hmm...I'll try to remember the second highlight, and see where that gets me. My wife helped me with the pose (mostly by saying 'No, that doesn't look right, here, look at this' 12) Thanks.

She is so sexy, and I love her shirt and the highlights on her pants. Wow.

Oh I really would love to see the sketch of this picture, I can't find it on your page! I actually am a huge fan of Mitrian from the "Last of the Renshai" series. I have made a character named after her on Dark Ages a 'not so known' roleplaying game I enjoy. Either way, you have captured her very similar to how I imagined her, (I picture her a little less sexy and a little more dark and emotional) but either way great job!The sketch is here, it's just not labeled "Mitrian". It's called "Ye want tae say tha' again, Amadan?"
