Another in the series of Jim Milligan's AD&D clerics, this time featuring TWO different orders! Consider yourselves fortunate indeed:) The elf with the hat is a member of the Lightbringers, while the piratical gentelman is a follower of Graalis Seabeard. (On a side note, the whole modesty issue in the title comes from a joking aside that Jim had written on the costume reference sheet he made for his priestesses. Next to the Lightbringer, who was dressed as the one in my pic, he wrote 'This one is modest, not showing any leg!' I thought that was pretty darn funny, and needed to be mentioned ;) )  Any 'foreign text' is gibberish.

Ummm.... I dont get why the women has her shirt off... I just dont get that part the rest of your picture is good. She has her shirt off because that's how the members of her order dress...You'd have to ask Jim exactly why. Thanks, though 2

She has her shirt off becuase she got hot. Why not? This is still my absolute favorite picture of yours. The color, the expressions. I can almost feel the sun on my back and hear the distant seagulls. And isn't that the ponit of art anyway, to share more than what is seen in the actual picture? Well, okay, one of the points of art anyway.Mmmm...sometimes when I crumple the paper, the corners get kinda pointy...oh, wait, that's not what you meant, is it? 12 I like this one too, mostly because I experimented a tiny bit with the colors.

Hey I know! Do a picture all in one color. That'll get you over any fear of color (Fear of color, I see no fear of color here) But seriously I've seen someone do that before and the effect was amazing. It wasn't even an underwater scene done all in blue. Actually "A Peaceful Moment" already comes close to doing that, so forget I mentioned it 2 Maybe I'll get brave enough to try that someday. For now I think learning to use color period would be more useful for me. I'm posting at least two color pictures as soon as can borrow someone's scanner. All in one color might be the way to go, at that. I'm assuming you mean some other color than sepia 12

Dude, i like the pic, but i noticed that the man looks like micheal jackson in the face with a fake pirates beard. Im not hating, just thought it a little funny. That is kind of funny, while curiously disturbing at the same time. It certainly wasn't intentional.

That elf-girl is cute! And it is downright weird that people would object to her being shirtless!

Naw, she's an elf. They don't sag (or only very, very, slowly). ; )

Priestesses of ancient Crete were bare breasted with voluminous flounced skirts. In old Bali a woman with covered breasts was considered indecent. Different cultures have differing ideas of modesty. Given the evolution of feminine fashion from the 1900’s till now, I give it 50 to 100 yrs and women will again bare their breasts in public.
