SciFi and Fantasy Art Serendipity by Brian Keith Cooke

This is a special pic for me, and I spent a good deal of time on it. My wife and I have a friend who has been very supportive of us during our own time of crisis, and we recently found out that her four-year-old son is ill. He is, in fact, terminal. I felt very moved to do whatever I could for her, even if it is only a simple pic to help her remember. No, she's not an elf; no, they don't live by the sea; but I think the fantasy elements will help capture the happy memories.

My nephew has been diagnosed with MS so I can relate to some degree. on a side note I like how you composed the bech behind her to look like angel wings. Well done piece.Lucky accident, but one I'll remember for future pieces. I think her son is actually doing better at the moment, which isn't supposed to happen with Batten's....we're all happy for her, though.
