Tag As FavoriteComment		The estate was a veritable flurry of activity, with maids and servants scurrying about madly to clean, decorate, and prepare for the immanent arrival of Prince Orlich and his retinue. Mountains of food had been delivered wagonload by wagonload, and casks of wine too numerous to count had been rafted up-river from Ansel-towne. Still, amidst all the frenetic activity, Chiahlla found time for a leisurely bath, watched over by her faithful nurse, Priscilla.

It is a very good picture. The only thing I would change is her reflection in the water. I think if she is bathing and splashing around, then her reflection would not be as crisp as it is. Great job.Yeah, well, you know. Water and I have an uneasy relationship, at least as far as drawing it goes. Always room for improvement.

Wow thats awsome. So real, and the hair is so cool, and oh i just love the truth of it.Dunno about truth, but the figure turned out pretty well, I think. The background ended up being kind of half-arsed, but that happens a lot when I try to make a whole pic out of a doodle.

Nice work, as usual! I have to say, though, her nurse looks like she's about to plant a boot in someone's behind (for spying on her mistress, maybe?)Thanks muchly. You know how overprotective nursemaids can be. I don't honestly remember if I intended her to be that beefy originally or not. Seems to work ok, though. Even if the background is half-arsed.

The hair looks a little odd, but that is probably just me.Really? I kind of liked her hair the best....hmmmm...if you can tell me what seems odd about it, I'll look into it.

The hair looks fine to me...but with the angle of the neck, it looks like she has no face. I know it’s supposed to be turned away, but the rest of her body suggests that her face should be at least partially in profile.

:-) Brian Keith Cooke replies: "Maybe, but her neck is turned further away from the viewer than her body. Then again, maybe more of her profile should be showing."

One thing I wish Elfwood had was a feature like other art sites where you get an alert when a faved artist posts something new. I watch your gallery for amazing pieces like this all the time but I have so many faves I sadly miss some. :-(
