This is one of the letters of my Dragon Alphabet. Since its intended for a coloring book, its black and white. Pen & Ink (altered a bit in photo shop).

If you notice any simularities between this drawing and my 'Ice Dragon' image, thats because I kept thinking that the Ice dragon looked a bit like the letter 'A' so it was part of the inspiration for this one.

Wendy Larson did a wonderful full color version of this dragon as he would look if he was in a children's ABC book.
Go take a look at it, she did a terrific job

I updated this happy little guy with a purple makeover. I hope you like him, now I just have to get busy on the rest and finish the whole series.

Updated A's color and format a bit so that he will match the rest of the series (which is coming soon)

I really like the lovely sunset hues you used on this dragon. You sooo need to make a children's book or coloring book! Hint...hint...poke...poke...How am I ever going to say "I'm good friends with that famous children's book author Brian L. Husted!"...if you never finish the book! *hugs-n-grins*

:-) Brian L. Husted replies: "Yeppers, I gots to get to work on it again. I still have to finish the line work on four more dragons (Q, U, V, & W), and then after that I'll get busy coloring my brains out before I post them to Elfwood. Someday I will have it done, that's why I posted them here in the first place, so that friends like you can motivate me to keep working on it until it's finally completed."

If this were a coloring book, I'd buy it and color it.

:-) Brian L. Husted replies: "He he, that's the best compliment yet!"

*stares*... I love those, there so CUTE! All of them! If this is going to be a children's book, I'll wish to be a child again. *grins*

I have been admiring your dragon alphabet for such a long time, yet I haven’t commented. Shame on me!

What I like most about this one is the goofy grin and the puppy-dog feet.

I teach autistic and LD students and think they might like your letters to spell out DRAGONS on their school t-shirts. Would you allow this?

How about a nice, random comment from a complete stranger? I have an almost-four-year-old who will think he’s died and gone to heaven! He LOVES dragons and is working on learning his letters - I can’t think of a better combination.
This letter A is awesome. Please tell me you’ve finished your book and I can download it. Yes?
Well-done.
