My career in animation has taught me how to add detail with a minimum use of lines and to do so as cleanly as possible. As a result, though I would never use any of these drawings as a model for an animation rotation, my semi-finished work tends to not have a sketchy look to it which I prefer before I color it. (That's not to say my original rough drawings aren't sketchy...what you generally see here is a cleaned up version of a pretty messy and indecipherable initial sketch.)
