In my opinion, there is a difference between magic and magick. Magic is fairly modern, such as the idea of snapping your fingers and having a tray full of cookies appear. Magick is more detailed and more complicated, a wizard working for years to perfect a spell or ritual to maybe make a drought end or bring a dead person back to life. I use "magick" because it gives the reader a better idea of what kind of story they are about to read. I hope that makes sense, and I hope that answers your question. | |
