NOTE: Thank you ALL for the nice and constructive comments left here for me, I couldn't possibly imagine that the picture would get this kind of feedback! And a lot of questions aswell... I'll try to summon it below: 1. This boy has got nothing to do with Link or his horse Epona, in fact I have never even played the game. But even during the process of making this picture, all my friends told me of his similarities with Link and I guess that's a good thing, Link's cute! 2. This is painted in watercolours and was based off a pencil sketch I did long ago. While being just a sketch, I had the intention of making a big tree to the right housing a wood-nymph or a sprite throwing pebbles at him. Hence his suspicious expression. 3. I like the fact that many visitors seem to like the horse! In general, horses are considered either beautiful, mystic or simply a way to travel. I love horses and I wanted this one to feel like more of a character, just as the dude on his back. ~A LOT of detail was lost in the scan, the entire picture is much larger than the scanner itself, but I thought I would put this up anyway. Been working on this at school for about three weeks, I had a fairytale theme goin' on...~

Wow the horse does have kind of it's own personality with those little droopy eyes and the muscles look like he's about to gallop away and never come back to this neck of the woods(pardon the expression lol)! The guy looks young but experienced but overall the picture is absolutely adorable! Congrats on mod's choice again!

Maybe I could take this in swedish, but i thought that as many as possible should be able to take part of my comment, just because this picture is so beautiful! And that´s not a secret... =) I just love it! I read that it was not suppose to look like Link, but that was my first thought. And the horse... Wow!

no u’r pic has no simularities with Link or Epona. I guess it’s because he’s dressed in green. Has the same truble whit one of my own pics (Inuyacha...). But I must say I feel like i have seen that horse before or some werry like... anyway, the pictures is werry good
