SciFi and Fantasy Art Final Lesson by Bronwyn McIvor

She lay on the branch at the end of the tree by the fall of the cliff in that place where the wind prevailed. Over the edge was as it seemed, a pit at the end of the universe. She's lived as long as one could live learned all that could be learned. Was doomed to an eternity with infinite knowledge. She realized then that there was one thing that yet she did not know. And soon she knew what she would do. 'I have seen life,' she bellowed, 'in all ways it can be seen.' She turned to the void her arms raised up a smile graced her perfect face. She dove like greedy pelican mouth wide open and singing. Hungry for the knowledge-food on which she soon would feast. She sang in haiku: 'Black void of nothing teach me my final lesson then gently I'll fall.' ~poem by Allison Sullivan It took me a while to do this picture. I finally settled on the image, and decided to do it in a stained glass, art nouveau style.
