	In Greek mythology, naiads were guardians and inhabitants of lakes and ponds. I've been doing a fair bit of golf this year, and in the process I've lost more than a few balls in water hazards. I like to think that creatures such as this one enjoy my gifts.

16 Nov 2005	Cecy	Loading... hahah I like this pic...it's just the way she looks at the little golfball...Maybe other naiads got a terrible headache because you shot one of your golfballs to their heads...(there may be lots of naiads lying knock out on the bottom of the sea...) Bronwyn McIvor replies: "Oh no. . . I never thought about the damage I might be doing to the naiad community! On the plus side, this does give me extra incentive to keep out of the water hazards!"
15 Jul 2007	Lianna	Loading... Are naiads that big? I was expecting the golf ball to be about the same size as the naiad. Well, if there are naiads at the golf course, it shouldn't be too hard to see one if they are that big! Bronwyn McIvor replies: "I'm fairly sure that in Greek mythology naiads, dryads, nymphs and nereids were generally human-sized. After all, more than one hero had affairs with them."
