Somewhat, very loosely inspired by Chinese dragons (the pearl part, mainly.) I used this for the front of a birthday card for my friend Adena. Done in watercolours, using salt for the fun splotchy bits.

I love the pearl and the serpent's eye... well done!

Wow, amazing! It's so beautiful and I love the way the body twists and turns and the expression is great. I'm trying to work with watercolors myself, and I'm not really all that great. I like he effect of the splotchiness but could never figure out a very good way to do it. Would you mind explaining to me how exactly you did that? Thanks, and great job! =^_^=

I like the way the pearl is on the serpent's tongue. Very pretty!
