These are the many forms that the Twins take throughout Tad Williams' Otherland. Though they appear in many different forms, one is always grotesquely fat, while the other is almost anorexically thin. They are terifying creatures. Their various guises are: Jack Sprat and his wife, Lion and Tinman, Mr. and Mrs. Pankie, Finch and Mullet, a cricket and a caterpillar, Tragedy and Comedy, the Walrus and the Carpenter, and Tefy and Mewat (two Egyptian gods/demons).

Oh my gosh, those two freak the heck out of me!! This is just how I imagined they would look! What a great idea! Really nice shading and I live how you charactrized them! Keep it up! (I like exclimation points!)

1 Bronwyn McIvor replies: "Haha I'm glad you like them (and approve of them)! They were so much fun to to, mainly *because* they were so often grotesque."

I don't think I've been so happy since I finally, finally, FINALLY got to read SoSL after reading the other three books! WooHOO! Otherland fanart on Elfwood! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been waiting to see more of it for what feels like ages! Go you! ^-^

And by the way....extremely happy because your pic is incredibly shade-happy. Well done you!

1 Bronwyn McIvor replies: "I'm glad you like it! I think the Otherland series is by far my favourite of his works."

This is bloody brilliant!!!!
I'm still reading the fourth volume of Otherland but the Twins have always exeptionally creeped me out. You captured them perfectly. It's exactly the way I imagined them.
I'm scared only looking at your picture. But go on like this - it's really amazing!!!

1 Bronwyn McIvor replies: "Thanks! They were just too horribly fascinatingly grotesque not to draw."

The twins are certainly creepy. The one who creeps me out more than they do is Dread, but that may just be me. I really like your shading. It's intricate and detailed. Awesome.

:-) Bronwyn McIvor replies: "Oh I definitely know what you mean about Dread. He's terrifying. I may have to try and draw him some time. . . "

Amazing! I love this, the twins were horrifying...but they get theirs...
