"OLD ART ~ Canas, the Kuvrahk Goddess" by Casey Young

Okay, on her left (our right) shoulder, the thing seems to be floating off her shoulder in space. And the guy's right, she's ugly. Butt ugly. But, since you MEANT her to be ugly, that is GOOT! ^_^ The meanie-houdini-man-girl-it is right about the dream catcher. S'kinda scary. She's scary. I am, once again, scared. (insert scream here)Casey: Actually, I meant to correct Meanie on this one, but the dreamcatcher..well, it IS floating there. =-)

Her dress appears to be floating off her right (our right) shoulder. It doesn't fit well. Is that a tatoo or a necklace on her chest? If it's a necklace, it needs to be more defined and stand out from the skin more. If it's a tatoo then it's ok. I might darken the jawline a little, but that's stylistic. She looks very goddess-like and strong, nice characterization. The background is magnificent.Casey: Yup, its a tattoo. Well, actually a birthmark. Kuvrahk have those when they are born and each one is different.Since Canas was the first and Goddess of the kuvrahk, she started it all when she donned a necklace that sorta didnt' agree with dragonblooded critters and left that mark. Its scarred her children since then..

Maybe I should get you to draw my half-dragon, Draegan? You seem good at drawing half-dragons and dragon-kin creatures.

Great pic. I especially like the background! I thought that thing off to her left was hills. Oh well. Any way, I think that is that thing on her chest is a tattoo, you should lose the little dot thing going up from it, they look like a necklace chain. And I most definitely do not think she is ugly. Maybe a little wheathered (sp?)maybe, but definitely not ugly.

My name is canas since it was given to me at birth before my real name alonzo, i had a white patch of hair on my side of my head. canas means gray hair in spanish and that's what i am....picture looks outof this world and that's the way i am.....i hope you can e mail me anything you do or draw on this canas chick. thanx Canas...
