Funny what comes out of your head at work, aint it?
This thing is giving me the willies. This would be a cool monster to have in some kind of alien movie or game, perhaps a boss at the end of a level. Great job!!

:-) John Ryan Byrd replies: "I actually drew most of the pencil sketches on this page inbetween taking phone calls at work. Thanks"

This definitely looks like something out of the video game Oddworld. I think they're called Sligs or something. I like it though!

:-) John Ryan Byrd replies: "cool, never played the game odd world, wasn't influenced by that, guess the ideas just coincidentaly are close. I do play video games when I find time, but its rare. well back to the drawing board, and thanks for stopping bye"

a Shoggoth for sure( if you loose the legs 1
Info is great, especially personal, don't make fun of the wife though, cause I care.

12 John Ryan Byrd replies: "Looks as if I am gonna have to do research and find out what a Shoggath is. Must be the creature from oddworld spoken of from above. Oh yeah, I was in no way shape or form making any kind of fun of your wife. I was only questioning my own good judgement of letting the world know I was unemployed. I don't mind telling people what I do and her questions was very valid, I'd never make fun of the great people that grace my pages, I am fortunate for every one of you who looks at and appreciates my work, and I appreciate that you enjoy it. I just love all of yas. Anyhow, thanks for commenting and stopping by."

It's great, wonder what kind of job you have ????

:-) John Ryan Byrd replies: "I was telemarketing, or doing inbound customer service calls for an internet service provider. probably shouldn't say what company, now I am living off of huge tax refunds and drawing alot and looking for another job.. hopefully I get lucky and never have to go back to the world of meanial labor and get work doing what I am supposed to be doing. Its not something I am worried about because I am well off for the time being. Is that to much personal info. Eh, who cares....."

Ah poo! This is the last pic! But hey, it's a great one! I loath insects so this one gives me the hee-bee gee-bees. Those tentacles are very impressive. Do they sting? I really love the look in its eyes. Somebody must've pissed if off bad! Yikes! I love your imagination!

:-) John Ryan Byrd replies: "I just submitted a new ticket, uploaded mostly old sketches with one Newly created Peice, So it aint the last one anymore. I need to come back over and see your page again, I'll do it when I get the chance. "

Very interesting creature. Very imaginative. I love the detail, especially the tentacles. Awesome work! 2

:-) John Ryan Byrd replies: "Thanks Bunches."

The lovecraftian beauty of it is too much to bear... I think I'm going to cry now 1

Seriously though, the eyes. They're just so peaceful. Really gives the creature an alien feel rather than demonic. Top notch doodle!

12 John Ryan Byrd replies: "Thank you Mitch, you do have a point there. It don't look real Demonic"

Me love! Looks like an escaped top secret amphibious bioweapon. Maybe also a failed experiment to do so, kept for very long in ice till one day there was a big explosion bla-bla, you know what follows next - people run and scream and it goes after them. Or maybe sinks ships. No matter. The important thing is it`s quite a creature.
I love the name ^__^

:-) John Ryan Byrd replies: "Thanks Jenny, I'm glad you enjoyed this. "

FINALLY, Mr crabs and Zoidberg have joined forces to become, dun dun dun! : Mr, Captin Zoidcrabs. the most powerful force known to man ^_^ WOOT (sorry, i had to ^_-)

very nice pic btw

:-) John Ryan Byrd replies: "Ah ha Sponge Bob Meets Futurama. Zoidcrabs will defeat all those before him in the ocean or in outerspace, afterwards he will retire in a quaint little shop and make blurbering noises with his crabby patties"
