This is a drawing of one of the many cool Dungeons and Dragons Beasties that I did for practice using different forms of digital art. Colored in painter using the digital watercolor tools, in a quicker fashion that what I normally do. I know it has a few problems here and there and not sure if its the style I want to concur, However I find it to be decently pleasing so here it is.

Usually I see your art pieces well before they hit Elfwood, but it seems I'll be discovering new pieces specifically through Elfwood more and more. I like the mage and the archer in the background specifically. Maybe I can throw in a Behir encounter in my module? eh. eh? Is this the point where I do a first comment thing?

3 John Ryan Byrd replies: "I have a few new peices that should eventually be up soon, including a commisioned peice I'm doing of Wonder Woman in the fan art gallery and the Lizard Taur being completed. I'm also getting many commisioned works doing ordinary things you'll never see in the woods so its going to take a while getting new stuff up now. :-("

Ah ha! Good 'ole traditional, rock your socks, tear 'em to bits action-adventure. This pic is great in a classic way and definitely brings back my old D&D days. I like the way it's colored, especially the wee beastie.

I'm learning my way around Painter right now and it is one awesome application.

13 John Ryan Byrd replies: "HEY! Barb, haven't heard from you in a while but I've never forgotten who you are and I've always loved your little neck of the woods, i'm gonna have to go check it out and see whats new there. 1, as always, thanks for stopping by."
