This particular piece actually started out to be a human eye. But I decided that people see human eyes all the time, and they might want something different. I started the drawing with a light sketch with blue mechanical pencil, and finished it with conte crayon. It's the largest piece of traditional artwork that I've worked on from my imagination. The original title was 'Actual Size.'

Conte Crayon; 18x24 inch cotton paper.

Now that's one I would like to see in person.

:-) Timothy Kou replies: "Hehe... The piece is really called "Actual Size" and it's on an 18x24 piece of paper. It's big. Thanks for the comment."

That's amazing! The detail is fascinating. I just want to keep looking at it forever! I actualy saw this on one of Janelle's stories, but it was small then. I couldn't really appreciate it. 12 I like how it look strong, ferocious, powerful, and....serious all in one eye. Yikes, I couldn't draw an eye if my life depended on it, or if I was "suspended on a breaking rope brigde over a dark chasm," as Rachel would put it. 1 "Great job" doesn't cut it. But, seeing as "my wonder is contained by the English language," I have to say it; GREAT JOB!!

Simply amazing. I have never seen a drawn eye with such realism.
