I'd never drawn a werewolf before. But after seeing Van Helsing and Underworld, I was inspired. This is a werewolf in full transformation. If you look carefully at the expression, you'll see something that I like to do once in a while: there are two emotions wrapped up in his one face. The left side of his face is one of intense agony, perhaps shock. The other side is one of pure anger and hatred. Sorta scary. Blue mechanical pencil.

I like, especially the way you sketched it out. I thought that Van Helsing and Underworld were so cool also.

:-) Timothy Kou replies: "Thanks, Melissa! Van Helsing and Underworld are a couple of my top "funnest films" to watch. Both of them got mixed reviews from the critics, and I can understand most of their criticism. But I just can't get over how much fun it was to watch them."

wow! This is very cool. I love how you've combined the emotions effortlessly. The extreme expression is wonderful, those are so hard to do! I love your work, keep it up!

2 Timothy Kou replies: "I think emotions and the ability to express them are two of the most distinctive things about humans. And the secret to showing these emotions on paper are really through the eyes: the "windows to the soul." Eyes are something that I practice continually, and sadly, much of the time I get them wrong. But I'm glad to see that this one was effective. Thanks a bunch!"

It's hard to believe that that little blue mechanical pencil can spew out such intense torture and agony. I have to say your talent lies in the ability to capture any form of human emotion on paper. Just beautiful…or…well…grotesque…

2 Timothy Kou replies: "Thanks, Beth. You know I love my blue mechanical pencil. Can't wait to see what it'll spew out next!"

I really like the color, and the slightly angular style of drawing is also really cool. Very good picture.

Extremely cool. Scary as hell yet you sympathize.

:-) Timothy Kou replies: "Thanks a bunch. Sympathy is definitely something I wanted people to feel for this creature."

11 Wow Amazing it somehow manages to look aggresive but scared and in pain at the same time. Great! 12
