| 5 Oct 2004 | Joana Teresa P. C. Martinho | Loading...Hey there =) This one is very nicely coloured. But I was wondering, isn't it *a lot* based on a picture called "Arwin" from the Elfwood artist Candy D. Palmer? Or is it the other way around? Livy Poison replies: "thanks joana for giving me the name of candy. I once made a research on Alphonse Mucha with the google image search, and I found that nice picture of Candy. but unfortunately I print it when I was at school, and i didn't have Her name . I found the style so exquisite , that i wanted the same pose for my elf.I tried to work on the drappery...but it was quite difficult to reproduce, so i just worked on pose and colour. As far as I can remember , candy did a a wonderful job in reproducing art nouveau!!" | |
