  | This picture is inspired by Swedish folklore telling of a beautiful and seductive lady called the "Skogsfru". Standing at the edge of the forest, she looks like faerie in her many flowers, or perhaps a lady of the high court. But looks can be deceptive. She is said to have a dark side: luring hunters deep into the forest, where most of them become her victims, and eventually disappear. |
