A different version of Madame Butterfly, with a different ending.  A sad and beautiful  story of love that is already over.  An elf girl is left  with  a broken heart.  She tries to end her life, but survives.  And strangely, by using her extraordinary magic skills, she is able to escape her pain and change...

The way you’ve incorporated the butterflies into your drawing is quite beautiful.

:-) Caisa M. Howerin replies: "Thank you. The butterflies are actually photos, each added on a separate layer, then merged with the original image, using various filters and brushes."
