This young boy has rather strange, elongated proportions, but I'm showing the piece for its other qualities, the headgear and the mysterious lighting.

Great colors again. The black shading at the back is much more smoother on the left side than at the right side... Anyways, this is also a great pic. I like that helmet.

Oh, wow. He's lovely. Heve I told you enough times yet that I love your style? ^_^ I love it very much - it's so different, so expressive, and so well-executed.

I like that portrait. There is a very original atmosphere to it maybe because of the unexpected color scheme or the flowing clear lines...I don' t know, but it has a mesmerizing and intriguing quality

I love your style... and the helmet!

There might be a tribe in Africa that does that, but I know for sure there is one in the Asian cultures that does. Somewhere in Thailand or Laos or something...

anyway, it's another beautiful pic with wonderfully meshed colours. I adore your style!

The proportions don't seem too odd to me, he looks a bit African in his features (apart from skin colour, obviously) and isn't there a tribe in South America that elongate their necks with metal rings or something? Looks a bit like them too.
Great piece, very atmospheric. I love your style of work!

:-) Caisa M. Howerin replies: "Thank you. I saw him as part Indian, because of the feather in his helmet, but he does look a bit African, now that you mention it. Have not heard about the South American tribe. The picture was rather flat and uninteresting at first, until I hit the gradient button, which caused the mysterious lighting and atmospheric effects."
