This picture is made in Illustrator 7.0 on a Macintosh computer. It is inspired by Greek mythology.

Wow, I really like the style 19) Representational without being entirely realistic...it's a very cool effect 19) lovely coloring, and very detailed! Wish I knew just what part of greek mythology this came from 19)

:-) Caisa M. Howerin replies: "Thanks for your comment. This is Hermes, the messenger of the gods, although I didn't put wings on his sandals. He is also the patron of poetry and responsible for bringing dreams to the mortals."

Do the cross and the bird have something to do with the fact that the Swan and the Southern Cross are both constellations?

:-) Caisa M. Howerin replies: "Interesting thoughts about the constellations... The tray carrying the bird and cross could also represent a gift or inheritance from the past, from different civilizations: the bird representing freedom, the cross being a symbol of compassion."

This looks really cool. The vector-ish style was very well rendered, and it's a nice change on Elfwood. Great work, and congrats on Mod's Choice.

Aye...that's a very unique style. I love the way you made him looking back, and how the simple backround doesn't take away from the main object.

You know what's not fair? There's a Northern Cross constellation thingy, but no Jewish star. I mean, how hard can it be? You just point at a bunch of random stars and decide there's a bigger star in there. *sigh* -_-
Ignore my rantings...This pic is so cool! The style is just wow, and I just love all the little details. Congrats on Mod's Choice!
