	I painted this nymph with leaves and flowers springing from her in a natural way , since she is a child of nature.

9 Sep 2004	Agent57	Loading... In a strange way this reminds me of Matisse's "Woman with a Hat", although it's a bit different. I like this a lot. Much more natural looking than most of the other wood nymphs I've seen.
19 Jan 2005	Dani	Loading... I just happened upon this site and this artwork, but I thought I would share my perspective, especially after reading 'pessimistic viewer's comments. Perhaps I should realize how telling the handle is.? Anyway, I think this nymph is beautiful and drawn with great focus. The forehead is clearly hidden under the leaves and the contrast between the neck and face is evidence of a strong light (perhaps the sun)and that the viewer's focus should stay on the nymph's face. It's lovely!
