My name is Ryan and I currently reside in Buffalo, NY. At the present time, I am working semi-professionally as an artist/illustrator in the Western NY area. I have been interested in Fantasy Art since a very early age, and have always had a passion for making artwork that is derived from both real and imagined sources. My preferred medium is acrylic, but occasionally I will work in pencil. I really enjoy rendering studies with colored pencils or pastels and then painting them onto illustration board. I first heard about Elfwood some time ago, and have finally had the chance to put some work up on the web. I have to say that it is nice to see other people who share a love of fantasy and sci-fi art. They are sometimes hard to come by I think. Anyway, enough about me. I hope that you enjoy my work.
