  | This is taken from the myth where Zues wanted to give Aphrodite a taste of her own medicine, and instead of men always falling in love with her, she falls madly in love with Anchises, a mortal and the father of Aeneas. Aphrodite is disguised as a young maiden so as not to frighten the bewildered Anchises. Sadly their romance is short lived when Anchises is killed. |
