Christine Bennett

The natural world is my main inspiration. Through close observation I seek to understand the world better. Layers, emotion and concepts hold great meaning for me and I strive to include them as much as possible. I primarily use pencil crayons and chalk pastels, but thoroughly enjoyed my Painting 101 class and plan on using acrylics more. Some day I hope to be able to attend ACAD full-time. My favourite artists include Fred Remington, Delacroix, Ralph Steadman, El Greco and Tom Thomson.
