My first drawings were crude AD&D character sketches in 1980, maybe some day I'll post my first one. Since then I've exhibited on the Northeastern United States at a whole lot of SF/F convention, and even won a few awards. I like to combine humor and the Greco-Roman tradition of beauty. If you have a question about a technique please ask, but be aware that I have taken a sacred oath which Robin Wood made me take. Robin said, 'Now don't tell anyone this secret technique, and when you DO tell them you must extract an oath from them, that they must say 'Now don't tell anyone this...' when they teach it.... Got it?' These scans are at 72 dpi, though I also scan them at higher resolution for prints. Now the boring mundane stuff: I was raised in upstate New York near Rochester, and went to Roger Williams College for marine biology. There I took a couple of art courses but nothing terribly serious. I worked in marine biology for about a year before becoming a health and safety guy (industrial hygienist). A few years back (mid 1990's) I became a computer geek, and continue doing this. I live in Southeastern New England. At the current writing of this bio in February 2006, I own Baldrick the Ball Python (16 yrs old, Black Adder fans will know why I named him that... he's dim, even for a snake). As usual, this bio will probably change from time to time. Hope you enjoy the work. Cameron

Excellent pictures my man. I love your detail in the anatomy of your figures. I wonder, do you draw from photos, or models (or otherwise) or do you simply create them from your imagination? Either way, they're very impressive. Keep it up. Cheers.

Hi Cameron,

I took a little more time to look at your work, it's very impressive. You have a good eye and ability to convey emotion in the faces of the subjects. I like that green robe in "Libation...". Gotta get me one. Show us more!
