| 27 Sep 2007 | Aeschylus | Loading...Wow. That looks great. I'm no expert on xenogeology, but that planet looks scary. There must be a lot of liquid in the crust to form those stalagmites. The cooling and heating of day to night would make the ground relatively unstable. So would the gravitational pull of that nearby planet/moon. And the occasional piece of debris from the rings would hit (this planet is probably a piece of that debris even?) and shatter the landscape. Maybe ice form the rings contributes to the liquid? Whatever - that would be a horrible place to crash. Treacherous to climb over, too. | |
