I do appreciate the idea. I myself am researching wereowls for a RPG character. (I'm a fan of white-wolf) I find your picture beautiful and creative, but yet I hardly recognize it as owl-like. The small snow owl seems to be the symbolising feature. It more reminds me of a hawk or a bird that is sleek and narrow as opposed to the rounder, more compact body of an owl. I also find the extra limbs, the thin arms AND large wings as opposed to feathered arms as may be expected of a 'realistic' wereowl to be 'cartoonish'. I really don't mean to offend you, I in no way want to discourage you from creating more fantasy creatures, you are indeed talented. I just hope you may consider my constructive critisisum. Thank you.

Ana Teresa 'Catwings' Campaniço replies: "I know, I decided to use a more unusual approach. His more human than owl (with a bit more because of the mixing) which means he doesn't have enough feathers to give him that owl look

I really like this idea, it's very original. I also think it's really neat that you are able to give the wereowl a facial expression even though it has a beak.

I love how you did a night sky on the inside of his wings. It shows how he is perfectly mated with the night. He would make a good wizard’s pet, For he combines the deadly beauty and grace of an owl with intelligence of a human. Maybe he show have like a telepathic ability so he could be the perfect creature. The telepathy would also add to his owlish nature. Have you ever looked at an owl and almost "heard" him talking to you. I have. That would make this creature perfect.
