Did you use water colors or did you use colored pencils?

:-) Candace E. Bell replies: "I used acrylic paint"

This is beautiful. I love the sense of depth and motion. Plus you've used my favorite color combinations too! This one will probably be my desktop wallpaper for a good, long while...

:-) Candace E. Bell replies: "Im so happy you like it enough to make it your desk top wall paper he he!"

It's so... fresh. As if one can feel a humid fragrant air and wet and soft grass. I'd like to walk and breath in such a place. Must be the emerald green with the gray-blue background... nice choice of colors! I'm tempted to try them. By the way, congradulations for your today's mods' choice. You desrve more. I like your forest paintings and those with starry sky... very nice gallery.

:-) Candace E. Bell replies: "Thanks so much for your wonderful comments, I’m always please and impressed when someone describes the feeling of my paintings in detail and picks up the same feeling from it that I get! So thanks for that! and thanks for the congrats! "

Hi again. I love the unicorns. That is one of the things that I have very little talent when trying to draw anything horse related... The woods look great too. And I like the positions that the 3 unicorns are in. And the addition of a forest just makes the pic come together. I like the detail you put on each part of the pic. The colour is great too.

:-) Candace E. Bell replies: "Hello and thanks again, *smile* I used a reference picture for the forest in this painting, the unicorns I painted in by myself where I thought they would look nice, this is a great picture, I love the depth in this piece."

wow... ... ..... oh my.......... sooo perfect... I don't even know what the heck to say, which is rare. I WISH I HAD MONEY! I would buy it from you!!!! amazing, absolutely amazing.

:-) Candace E. Bell replies: "Well no need to feel bad about not having the money, even if you had it its already sold he he. I sell my artwork on ebay all the time, for resonable prices, so if you ever are interested just search "candace bell art" and something should come up *wink* Im glad that you liked this painting so much you couldnt find words. it means allot, thank you."

I love how you mad the first unicorn turn and look back it gives it a real herd of unicorns running through the woods. ^_^

:-) Candace E. Bell replies: "Thanks again, your right it does give it that feeling, wich is great becasue thats what I wanted to come across.*smile*"

Yep, this one takes today's cake!
Again, your focus on the importance of colour has really paid off, with the lovely contrast between the solid, gem-like green and the lush misty background of trees. Such a pretty scene! I hope you sold this for a bundle, it's worth it! I think Maryam summed it all up with her excellent comments above.

:-) Candace E. Bell replies: "Thanks again, I do really love this painting, I doubt I sold it for what its worth though, Allot of these paintings we done before I had lots of exposure and was just trying to "get out there" but that’s ok. I’m doing well now, had I painted that these days, I wouldn’t have let it go for less then I thought it was worth."

Beautiful and dreamy. Very effective use of green and black together too.

:-) Candace E. Bell replies: "Thanks for the comment!"
