“Look for the stone where the snow never melts;

Dwyren is come, a white shooting star.

One pearl, one piece, and the bond is complete;

Dwyren is needed, as much as you are.

Use your gifts well, child, or Onyx will grow;

Dwyren is come, as only I know.

Five will set out, four shall return--

A girl, to a warrior, but the white fire’s not done:

The war will be won as you travel 'twixt time

Dwyren is waiting, for you are the One.”

Hmm...the One? where did you get that from...lol. Ahh well, I do like the suspense it creates.

:-) Carla K. Anderson replies: "Hey... I started this two years ago, long before I saw 'The Matrix'..."

WOW! Amazing... Great riddle!

:-) Carla K. Anderson replies: "Thank you... I think I actually wrote most of my story around the title and the riddle"

This is great! I love this riddle! And I can't wait until you add more.

:-) Carla K. Anderson replies: "Thank you 2 I'll try to write more to justify everything in the riddle, currently it's all in very rough draft form 10"

I have seen stone where snow never melts for once i called mountains my home
this dwyran, the five, the four
and the one not returning intreguige me

in my minds eye i see the one not returning
as having become something greater then were any of the five who set out
something like some sort of matrix crystal
like that way i know several awairness who sit in silent councel
at the hub of the tangable
long and long ages not alone
but from time to time issuing forth at need
into the worlds of the living

=^^=
.../\...

:-) Carla K. Anderson replies: "Hmm perhaps... you'll just have to wait till the end of the story... "

Okay, now you have really captured my interest. How many times a day will I be able to come here looking for more? Please, please write more!
The single worst thing about riddles is
a) getting the wrong answer
b) getting the right answer and feeling guilty afterwards
c) never, ever knowing the answer, not even after you ask politely!
The correct answer, I'm afraid, is c, and at least this question HAS an answer.
The most I can say is, well done, and write more, please!

:-) Carla K. Anderson replies: "I will... have, in fact, in the roughest possible draft, from three (or four, now) year ago... I don't know if I'll be able to save it (ie, re-write)"

Holy crap!! That really lets on that there will be a LOT going on in your story, I hope I get to read it sometime!

:-) Carla K. Anderson replies: "Time will tell I guess 2"

Ahh.. .. if I could sing into a microphone and stick it here, again we would be hearing the theme to Final Fantasy 2E.. that is not a bad thing now.. it is only the one story/computer game that hooked me forever on fantasy. I look forward to reading more, my dear...

-Pete

:-) Carla K. Anderson replies: "Heheh, wonderful 2 someday the mysteries of the riddle will be made clear *adopts a mystical voice*"

Mir... Just a few time things to say... GREAT riddle. Nice and curious making and all that which make riddles pertaining to stories so wonderful! 12

The title sounds very interesting too. ^_^ Ack! I should get off my lazy derrière and write and read more. Don't be afraid of rewriting years old drafts, btw. Just re-read them (to refresh your memory), put them aside and rewrite them paragraph by paragraph. 12 Also, do NOT look back at the original unless you forgot how the story line goes. Trust me, it works for at least some people 12

Anyways... Great riddle/poem ^_^

:-) Carla K. Anderson replies: "Thank you, Shanra!
The only thing about me re-writing that is the *storyline* needs help, not just my writing... "
