| 12 Jun 2001 | SIMMA | Loading...heh.. thats funny. Its a good pick and i like how you drew the scarab. Just one little change in you description. I'm not a scarab expert but.. These beetles (from where i'm from) are called dung beetles. They don't roll the ball with its kids in them.. Its a peice of.. how do i say.. poo adn they roll it to someplace safe, where they then lay eggs in it. So when the babies hatch they have food and protection form the dung. Gotta luv them bugs.. ^.^; well cool pic again, and sorry on the correction. Peace out. | |
| 16 Jul 2002 | Cupid | Loading...I think that there are scarab beetles AND dung beetles. There ARE, in fact, several varieties of insects that roll up dirt or dung and roll it over to...where ever. Great job, by the way. : ) | |
| 17 Sep 2004 | Madina*BLACK*PLAGUE* Hagberg | Loading...The egyptian and indonisian scarabs are indeed dung beatles, not dirt beatles. They bury their poop-ball in the sand after they lay their eggs in it. Nasty first meal, huh. | |
