SciFi and Fantasy Art Nightmare by Carolien Thomas

Running over the clouds, as fast as the wind, is the nightmare. The moon reflects on her black manes and fur. Her wings are torn and she looks around her angry and scared, giving people nightmares as she passes by. I don't know if the composition of the horse is right, cause I didn't have an example and I've never drawn a horse before. So I just imagened how a horse would run and what it exactly looked like...I hope it worked (I think it turned out rather good).

And even tho you're horse isnt' exactly correct i love it cuz it looks dreamy. the eye, the wings the way its positioned and the coloring all help to give it that not real dream effect. very nice

7 Aug 2004	C. 'GalopaWXY' de Rougemont	Loading... ya, actually, the nightmare is supposed to be a dark horse with tail and mane of flame (oooo, look, that rimes !! ) I think you should devellop the idea of those torn wigs, just add the fire, it really makes a style ^^

I've tried for a long time to create a nightmare but every time I tried it turned out horrible or my scant drawing abilities suddenly left me...sigh But now I have inspiration! But don't worry I'm not a copycat. I loooooooooove the wings...and the moon shining...and everything! Its great! Keep it up!
