Darkness Rising

Darkness in the shadows lie

Beyond the earth, beyond the sky

Festering now and wounding then

Even beyond the realms of mortal men

Blood does drip and skin does peel

Time runs on but the wound won’t heal

The wheel of life keeps ever turning

Hell fires in mortal minds are burning

Where there was a forest great

Sentinel trees there are of late

Choking fumes hang thick in the skies

Oh the choking earth, it gasps then dies-

All mortal wishes and desires

They are born from the bright hell fires

There is no great in selfishness

Those men that seek sleep shall never rest

There are few and few there are

Who are different by very far

For those who seek they will not find

Death will creep into their mortal mind

Of the joy of mother Earth

There was the darkling humans birth;

They build up high the towers of death

With which they wish to steal the earth’s breath

Let the chains of dark smoke break

And let the demons scream and quake

From deathly shackles go break free

From your self created tyranny

But no! Your willing mind stays

You will not leave those evil ways

This is how the darkness rises

Fire eyes on black devices

Ten thousand times the drums roll

To demon armies surrender your soul.

And come immortals join the fight

Ye will be the victors oh queens of light
