| 21 Aug 2003 | Carolyn Rowe | I laughed my head off at the "Twinkie" pictures even thought I absolutely *loath* those little snack foods! It's like: "Where's the cream filling?" It's good to see something so ridiculously silly around here. You've got a cool gallery here | |
| 18 Nov 2003 | Kris | Hey man, you rock! I cant say I'm into your style of drawnng much but the expression is so virbrant the are no other words to discribe. | |
| 23 Feb 2004 | Rianna | Very nice site. I am sorry I didn't notice it before. | |
| 27 Feb 2004 | Anne Marie 'Wychfire' Filiatreault | Wow, I love your take on sci-fi! I rarely do anything of the sort like that because I'm not too good with the techno stuff. And you just might make Mod's choice; they accept black and white all the time, but I agree on the colours win out deal. Still, cool work, and never stop drawing. | |
| 7 Apr 2004 | Gene 'SleepingDragon' Erno | It was a toss-up weather to post this here or reply again to your LJ thread. I guess here is more appropriate being that it's about your work specifically.
I looked through your whole gallery before but was inspired to look at a few things again because of that topic.
You have a very solid style that I think would lend itself well to either comic books or similarly styled animations. Your character ideas are quite unique. This is some really strong material here in those respects.
I think the only thing that is lacking to make this stuff real 'top shelf' work is that most of what is shown here is in the drawing/design stage and not finished off by being inked, colored and put into setting and backgrounds. That's not even a criticism really, It's just what I think causes your work to get less attention than it probably deserves.
Gotta keep in mind that in comics and animation, there is a whole TEAM of people working on the project. Some of them do exactly what you are doing here. Others color the drawings and make the backgrounds etc. It all happens under an art director who oversee's everything. My opinion is that as long as you are able to crank out the drawings fast enough, you definatly have the talent to be a part of something like that RIGHT NOW.
Good stuff. | |
| 8 Aug 2004 | Wayne H. Hodge | You are very talented and I've enojyed looking at your work. What impresses me most is the costume designs that you have created for your characters. They are truely some of the best that I have seen among the woods. I'm pretty good with anatomy but I'm not worth a crap at drawing anykind of clothing. Keep up the good work and I look froward to seeing some new stuff from you in the future. | |
| 5 Jan 2005 | John Steele | -Awesome work, keep it up..! | |
