They all kinda seem unfinished though... any chance of finishing? or adding some color? just curious, keep up the good work! Micah A. Carreon replies: "Hmm,ya,all i have for tools is some xerox paper and a mechanical pencil x.x,i try not to get too detailed, otherwise the picture ends up smudging like a $#@! but in some cases i just leave it that way because whenever i get too detailed it also looks too busy,in the mean time im getting used to photoshop for coloring, but dont expect much,eheh..."

Or Maybe if you went over the lines in shrpie or something it may give them a more finished look.Thats usually what I do. You have great potential (unlike myself -- . The female form in your drawings is very well done and detailed. All in All I love it! ze wawawawa!
| 21 Mar 2002 | Dora E Gonzalez | Loading...I saw most of your drawings and they are really nice like I said. So far my favorite is the one that is colored, you know the angel. Just a tip: you might want to make the angel guy that is colored as your icon for your page(the one that leads to this) because that way you well get more traffic here. It would be a perfect drawing for it. Laters!! I well come soon to finish seeing all of your drawings and leave more comments. Bye Bye now! ^-^ Micah A. Carreon replies: "o_O;Thanksh for all the commenents an stuf, heh,Im tryn to post shtuff right now,but im havin problems,so im going to be awhile...>." | |
| 21 Mar 2002 | Dora E Gonzalez | Loading...Your drawings are nice but try putting some color in them. It makes them more interesting, not that they aren't. ^-^ I hope you post more drawings. Let me know if you do ok? | |

| 7 Feb 2003 | JON | Loading...Mark,
You definitely have talent. Keep all your sketches and or paintings for your portfolio. The more you have to present when you go to art school the better your chances are of getting in. Especially when you show great promise now. Right now is when I would start looking into schools you what to get into then I'd even take a trip to Europe and study some of the great artist in Rome and at the Louve in Paris. Copying the great artists is what I believe helps you develop your own style.

Some people say to use color, but the way the pictures look kind of washed out looks really cool. If you do add color, i wouldn't go into great detail with it, you're art is awesome how it is. That's just my opinion though, and god knows i'm no art major.... So you prolly ought to listen to other people rather than lil' ol' me... Micah A.
