Tag As FavoriteComment		I've been wanting to do a Lovecraft based picture for ages. Eons. Well, okay, not that long. Yeah, I know these things are supposed to be all fat and bloated, but I couldn't get it to work well on the page. So, the thinner, physically fit new age Cthulhu:

I could have sworn I commented on this one already. OMG, the detail. Each little scale, each ridge, all perfectly clear. I so wish I had your patience and attention for the tiny details. And skill with the pencil don't hurt neither. I am amazed. Lovecraft is teh r0xx0r.

People will think I'm weird (and they will be right, too) for saying this, but I think this is truly beautiful. Your work on those scales is simply gorgeous. Admittedly, this being is far too lean and large-winged to fit the description of the Old One, but interpreted as a starspawn this is one of the best renditions I have seen.

Fantastic detail. I learned about Cthulhu only recently and finished reading the short story only days ago, but the concept of the creature got me hooked even before I finished it. This depiction is amazing and the fact that's it's not 'fat' or 'bloated' doesn't really matter. Love the texture and, again, the amount of detail. More please.
