hi everyone,

I'm a 50 something wannabe cartoonist/artist/animator. I retired a few years back from Hollywood to chase my dream as a childrens book illustrator and well, ......i'm working again as a manager building homes heh heh funny how life works.

John, thank you for the note. As for your questions, Van dykes Taxidermy is where I perchase the eyes for my dragons. You asked about clear, shark flints work great. If you are going to back light with L.E.D.s you can cut velum and put it behind the eye to defuse the light and to hide the light’s wires. 38 mm ought to be the correct size but I’ll check tomorrow and let you know. Just google Van dykes. You can shop on line or have them send you a catolog. If you want color with a back light you can use glass paint on the back side of the shark flint. Hope that helped!

Check out the mm size for the zebra in the catolog, that would be just about right for a horse size!
