Most of my description has disappeared! No, I don't know why, but I'll try to sort it out/get it sorted out as quickly as possible. Thanks!

WOW! Emma - you can write! Your stories are REALLY REALLY good. I'm sure that one day you WILL publish a book! If I can publish a poem anyone can!
Please put some more stories on! x

1 Emma Lydia Bates replies: "Thanks Taz! More stories coming soon."
31 Aug 2005:-) Michelle A Salvagio
I agree with the people who say you should write more poetry! You usually say before a poem that you don't like it or that it didn't work, but i think you're way too hard on your own work! I really like the variety of stories ad poems you have up - great library!!!

1 Emma Lydia Bates replies: "Thank you! That's the sort of comment that really boosts my confidence, so maybe I ought to put more poems up. Thanks again for the comment!"

I've only had the chance to read one piece and I chose "The Path to the Moon." I'm not very good at being a critic and therefore I'll just say what I think. So far what I've read has been of very good quality and I look forward to reading more. I hold a respect for those who can express their thoughts and dreams with words, and each piece is a part of the creating author. Each piece a small dream set to paper. I'm running back to Bifrost now!

1 Emma Lydia Bates replies: "Sometimes the people who aren't very good critics can be most helpful, because they just saw what they feel rather than trying to analyse the story or something. Thanks for the comment!"

Yeah, congratulations!! *adds to glitter, tries sugar cookies and leaves a large, ten-tier chocolate cake*

14 Emma Lydia Bates replies: "Mmmm... chocolate cake... It's starting to look like the Elfwood Party's already started on my library!"

Hey Emma!

Congrats on being chosen as our new "Featured Member" in Bifrost. I hope you will get plenty of visitors to your library and gallery...and I appreciate the way you've always been an active part of Bifrost...it just wouldn't be the same without you.

Hugs-n-Smiles

Wendy

2 Emma Lydia Bates replies: "I already seem to be getting more visitors than I've had in the past few months. Thanks, Wendy!"

Yay you're back! And i am afraid i just made a fool of myself..you see in the email i just sent you...i mentioned that i couldn't find your email...*cough*.....ahem...well i found it...lol sorry i'm a ditz sometimes *blushes*

ANYWAY!! lol now you're back i will be hanging round, commenting on all of your stories and making a general nuisance of myself hehe hope you don't mind!!

By the way, you're stories encouraged me to become a writer on elfwood myself and since then i have met some wonderful people. Thank you!

1 Emma Lydia Bates replies: "I thought I'd replied to this... but my computer crashed halfway through. It's a relief, anyway, that there isn't half a reply or something like that!

I have no objection to you or anyone commenting on all my stories - it's hardly something I'd consider a nuisance anyway. Thanks for the comment!"
