I have zero natural artistic talent, hence my belief that anyone can teach themselves to draw to a certain point. I think the human form (or elvish or fae or whathaveyou) is beautiful. Various inspirations for me include music, other people's work, books, real life, and my own fevered imagination. My native medium is pencil (both mechanical and good ol' no. 2), but that is supplemented by forays into pen, colored pencil (I worship at the altar of Prismacolor) and the wonderful world of Photoshop.

Nice to see your work. I've left you a few more comments on the individual pages too. I hope you keep up the drawing. Good to see you willing to try all different sorts of media. I hope to one day start to draw a lot more, I'm kinda busy at school right now. So I can only encourage you to draw all you can, you seem to be able to provide your own motivation, though. Yes, Cathleen, you've come a long way since stick-people as you put it. And I most certainly found something I enjoy here, namely "Between the Leaves" and "Edge of the Fall." You are the first artist i see using prisma color on elfwood..I use it on most of my drawings, and people always ask me what is prisma pencils, its nice to see someone else using it..Great job!
