I'm so, so very proud of this.  I think I really captured a realistic look on the skin and the iris came out just how I wanted it to be.  I was going for, as the title reads, an emerald-turned-flesh.  That is to say, I wanted the gemstone to reflect in the eye but not necessarily as a literal reflection, such as what you see when you look in the mirror.  It's deeper, I think, and more compelling.

It is magnificent. I love it. It is so pretty. The eye is the first thing that people look at when they see it and you did an amazing job on it. I'm not lying- I wouldn't have gaped at it for 6 minutes if I didn't think it was nice.

You did very well on the skin. The texture is great, and the moist highlights make it look realistic. It looks almost real, and yet you can still tell that it’s not. The eye is great... with the pink, shading, eyelashes.... how do you get the brush to fine? Beautiful work!
