It's an anatomical study... no, really.

Alright, I do quite like drawing this sort of thing for the sake of it. I believe many of my visitors like looking at this sort of thing, so I suppose you'd call it fanservice. He's definitely got the look of an incubus about him, but a nice one, not one of the soul-sucking types. Really I just like drawing wings on people. And I actually was trying to work on anatomy and shading on the torso, which I'm quite pleased with.

In case anyone's interested, though I doubt many of you are reading this, the pencils I used are a kind of drawing pencil. Sort of a waxy pastel pencil prisma coloured hybrid. They come in lovely earthy tones and I like them a lot. I had to tweak this a lot on the computer. Its a photograph, as its A3 size and a devil to scan.
